Research Summary

Dr. Pang’s research focuses on the discovery of novel compounds by high-throughput screening or high-content screening in terms of molecular target-based assay or phenotypic assay, and drug development in order to provide therapeutics for the cardiovascular diseases, particularly cerebral ischemic stroke and liver diseases. He is also interested in the molecular mechanisms involved in brain inflammation, in order to prevent neuroinflammation and neuronal death, and promote brain functional recovery during cerebral ischemia.
