BTC is a 25 years old company
celebrating its 25th anniversary last year!
BTC started from very humble
origins of a baby wear cash and carry and now stand as one of the
biggest baby wear importers in the country. Their garments are aimed
at the budget to middle range of the market supplying the small &
large chain stores. BTC have now also expanded into boys/youth wear/menswear
and carry a range of over 500 seasonal items in stock at any one time.
Exports now also play a significant role.
BTC switched over to STYLEtexpro
in 1998 due to the lack of customer support and high maintenance charges
from their CAD supplier.

Easy – “with STYLEtexpro it is very easy
to create storyboards for whole ranges, this cuts down the need for
advance sampling. Before, where we needed to have all the samples
ready for the buyer before hand, now it is sufficient just to have
one or 2 per range and the balance of styles we can present to them
on paper, in very great detail if need be. This can vastly cut down
on sample development time and cost".
Financial Pay Back - "For example it can cost anything
up to a £100/- per style to develop a sample and have it sent
urgently from the far east to the UK by courier, so if we save the
need for just 28 samples per season the program has paid for itself
….inside one season!
